Her comments come a mere week after Nadine discussed her relationship with her former bandmates and discussed their weak bond during the height of their career in an interview with Fabulous magazine.

Despite their success, the Northern Irish singer revealed that the chart-topping girl group were not the best of friends, admitting: ‘There was always a distance between us.’

The Insatiable hitmaker also confessed that the band rarely spoke before their lively shows.

Speaking out about the group’s weak connection on a personal level, Nadine divulged: ‘A lot of the dancers were my friends from very early on, so I’d be going out and finding the local gay bar, which meant that we distanced ourselves.’

The mother-of-one also admitted that the pop stars rarely engaged in conversation before taking to the stage: ‘We all had our own dressing rooms and we’d just meet up to go on stage.’

However, the lead singer of the group insisted that the quintet were not in a ‘toxic’ state during their musical heyday: ‘If it had been horrendous I don’t think I’d have been able to do it. I’d have been like: “You’re all right, I’ll find another job, thank you.”‘
