Chanyeol has added a new tattoo to his collection of body inks. The 24-year-old South Korean singer/rapper subtly debuted the new tattoo with a black-and-white picture posted on his official Instagram page.

On Sunday, November 19, the member shared the photo featuring his hand holding a phone. His face wasn’t seen as the camera seemed to put its focus on his fingers. He captioned it with just “#nerdy,” referring to the word written on his clothes.

But fans quickly noticed the supposed new tattoo on his arm. The small tattoo wasn’t fully exposed, but it seemed to be the car plate “L-1485” which was featured in the music video of EXO’s “Ko Ko Bop”.

Fans soon reacted in the comment section. “boii is that a tattoo on your wrist??? i am s h o o k af,” one follower wrote. Another asked, “New tatto?” One other asked the meaning of the new tattoo. “Tatoo ? #1485 why?” read the comment. Some others asked him not to add more tattoos to his body.

Chanyeol has also had a tattoo on the inner side of his right arm. Fans first saw the tattoo when the idol performed on EXO’s mini fan meeting in September. At that time, the “Monster” hitmaker rolled up his sweatshirt’s sleeves, exposing the body artwork.

After fans questioned whether or not the tattoo was real, he admitted that it’s a permanent tattoo. He additionally revealed that it was painful when he made the tattoo, but wouldn’t explain the meaning behind the tattoo.

His tattoo aside, Chanyeol and his EXO groupmates are gearing up to kick off their third world tour, “EXO Planet #4 – The Elyxion”, with three concerts in Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on November 24-26.

The nine-piece group is also set to release their debut Japanese album titled “COUNTDOWN”. The first teaser for the album has been released, highlighting Kai who sports a red sweater as some upbeat music can be heard in the video. The album will be released on January 24, 2018.
