Davina McCall gets SOAKED as she is sprayed with water in a form-fitting T-shirt playing Radio 1’s Innuendo Bingo

Davina McCall has taken part in Radio 1’s returning game show Innuendo Bingo – which had taken a break from the airwaves – and thrown herself right in at the deep end.

The £100k Drop presenter, 51, donned a skimpy Innuendo Bingo T-shirt for the appearance, seen playing against DJ Chris Stark in a clip where she is soaked through-and-through.

As is the premise of the game, both ‘contestants’ are tasked with sitting opposite one another with mouths full of water, while Scott Mills plays clips from TV and radio of unintentionally suggestive faux pas.

The idea is that each contestant should try not to laugh or spit water over their opponent – despite that being what happens during every game, without fail.

Davina and Chris failed miserably, with one particular slip of the tongue by Radio 1 presenter Maya Jama causing them excessive wetness.

In a clip from her show, Maya introduces what she believes is the name of Muse song Supermassive Black Hole.

‘Here’s Muse’s Submissive Black Hole,’ she says, unaware of the faux pas.

This causes water to spray from Chris onto Davina – drenching the sporty former Big Brother hosts’s tiny tee.

A follow up clip sees Maya correct herself – getting it wrong again in the process.

‘Supermassive Back Hole,’ she says.

‘Are you kidding me? She said that?’ Davina says, through laughs, falling forward into Chris’ lap.

Davina’s jovial display comes after she admits she sometimes finds it ‘hard to see the positives’ in wake of her split from now-ex-husband Matthew Robertson.

The TV stalwart admitted that she has to ‘fake’ being happy because she doesn’t think that anyone would want to see her when she is sad.

‘It might look like I’m always happy because I quite often just show the bits when I’m happy. But I am often guilty of thinking, “No one really wants to see me when I’m unhappy”.’
